The brief was to combine two disused retail units in Leyton into a large single yoga studio with separate spaces for a visitor reception, seated waiting area, changing spaces, treatment rooms, and a separate yoga & reformer studio.

The entrance was relocated to maximise the space of both the yoga and reformer studios. Clients are now welcomed into the building at reception and follow straight through into the waiting area, which incorporates a drinks station, lockers, private changing rooms and private treatment rooms.  This space also works as a noise buffer between both of the main exercise rooms so that classes can be taught simultaneously.   

The use of well-crafted built-in timber fittings and joinery contribute to the calming effect of the yoga studio environment.
